Horizontal and Vertical Flammability Testing Machine UL 94 flame chamber. Horizontal flame chamber, vertical flame chamber For the flammability testing of plastic materials used in consumer electric devices and appliances. Stainless steel construction with black interior and large sliding window for easy viewing. Includes a fully adjustable specimen support and precision gas flow controls.
Main components
Combustion test chamber:
A sealed or ventilated controllable box with a volume typically greater than 0.5 cubic meters (some tests, such as VW-1, require more than 4 cubic meters), made of high-temperature resistant materials such as stainless steel.
Standard burner (Bunsen burner):
Used to generate a standard flame. For a 50W flame, the inner flame height is not conical and is 20±1mm.
Sample fixture:
It can firmly hold the sample and can be precisely adjusted to a horizontal or vertical position according to the testing requirements.
Gas supply system:
It provides methane gas with a purity of no less than 98% and is equipped with high-precision gas flow meters and pressure gauges to ensure the power and stability of the flame.(Gas needs to be self-provided.)
Timing device:
With an accuracy of at least 0.1 seconds, it is used for accurately measuring flame application time, afterflame time, afterburn time, etc.
Measuring tools:
including flame height gauges, rulers, etc.
